When you ask why are you there...she says with pride "girl..whenever i leave and go to a hotel, he comes there to bring me home." He has learned what puts her in line and knows she don't have shit of her own so she ain't going nowhere no matter what he does. You think it's a flex because when you stomp off and book a hotel with money you mom gave you and he comes around saying "come on, pack your stuff and cut it out."
